The North of Tyne Area Prescribing Committee (APC) is responsible for the clinical decision making and advice in relation to prescribing and medicines management commissioned by NHS Newcastle North and East CCG, NHS Newcastle West CCG, NHS North Tyneside CCG and NHS Northumberland CCG and provided by Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (NTW) NHS Foundation Trust and all primary care independent contractor organisations.
